The Dark Side Market is a seasonal outdoor market held on the Dartmouth waterfront during the summer and early fall. The market brings together local artisans, food vendors, farmers, musicians, and local performers for a vibrant evening experience.
DESIGN DIRECTION
The design should promote The Dark Side Market as a must-visit cultural experience. The design should feel alive, expressive and festive, capable of representing a variety of vendors and performers who will change throughout the season. We want a bold, lively and spirited identity that captures energy and diversity.
ADDITIONAL
The name is a nod to a former derogatory nickname for Dartmouth. The organizers have decided to embrace The Dark Side and change the former negative term into a positive, playful, vibrant title.
